    Peperomia hope


    Peperomia Hope is a lovely hybrid cultivar belonging to the wide and varied genus of popular houseplants. 


    Size: W12 x H18 cm 


    Light: Indirect bright light is the key with this plant, full sun will scorch the leaves and too little sun will stunt growth. 


    Water: Allow the top inch of soil to dry out before watering, soil that is too wet will encourage root rot and often the damage is done before it becomes apparent anything is wrong. Always ensure adequate drainage. 


    Temperature: As a tropical species cold won't benefit this plant, an even temperate environment away from draughts and intermittent sources of heat at average room temperature is ideal. 


    Humidity: As a native to the rainforest additional humidity will be beneficial.  Misting on a warm day or grouped together with other humidity loving plants will help with humidity requirements. 


    Feed: A suitable houseplant fertiliser, diluted to half the recommended strength can be used every 2 or 3 weeks in the spring. Never add fertiliser to dry soil as it can cause the roots to burn. 


    Care Tips: This plant is non-toxic and a champion air purifier. 


    Height & Growth rate: A trailing plant that can reach a foot tall and have vines up to 3 ft long. Relatively fast growing in the warmer months. 


    Origin: The Amazon naturally, this is a hybrid.
