Size: Plant 15 cm high. Pot: 10.5 cm
Light: This plant likes a bright spot but not direct sun, early morning or afternoon sun will be fine but the sun at the hottest part of the day will be intensified when shining through glass and can burn the small leaves.
Water: Keep the soil lightly moist during the warmer spring and summer growing months, water once the top half inch of soil is dry. In winter, allow the first 2 inches of soil to dry out before watering.
Temperature: This plant will do well at average room temperature, keep an even temperature so avoid intermittent sources of heat and draughts.
Humidity: This plant would benefit from additional humidity, a mist on a warm day, a pebble tray or humidifier can be used to raise humidity levels. Humidity loving plants can also be grouped together to raise humidity.
Feed: Use a suitable houseplant fertiliser monthly, dilute to half the strength recommended and never apply to a dry plant. Water one day and fertilise the next. If you see a white crust developing on the soil, it's a sign of fertiliser build up so be wary of continuing the same routine.

Origin: Reported to have a natural range anywhere from the Caribbean to Central America and as far south as Brazil.
