Also known as the Parasol Plant, Schefflera arboricola has green, glossy palm-like leaves, oval in shape. They are fast-growing, but are readily trimmed into shape, making them adaptable as small, compact plants displayed on a table through to tall, specimen floor plants.

Shefflera Arboricola Nora Care:
Light: Best grown in bright, indirect light to partial shade. Insufficient light may cause leggy growth.
Water: Water when the soil has become slightly dry. Water thoroughly and allow to drain freely. They like to be moist but not wet, don't leave them sitting in water.
Temperature: Normal household conditions 15-24°C. Avoid draughts.
Feed: Feed once a year or so with a balanced fertiliser during the growing period.
Care Tip: Prune back if the plant becomes leggy or too tall. Pinch out new growth if you want to keep the plant small and compact. Wipe leaves occasionally to remove dust.
Air Purifying: Schefflera filter airborne toxins from the atmosphere.
Height and Growth Rate: Ultimate height 1-2m, but easily trimmed to maintain whatever height you prefer. Fast growing in optimum conditions.
Toxicity: Considered mildly toxic. Keep away from pets and children.
Origin: Cultivar. Schefflera arboricola is native to Taiwan.
