    Sedum Burrito, the donkey tail or burro's tail, is a lovely flowering succulent native to southern Mexico and Honduras. It produces trailing rope-like tassled stems up to 60 cm long  that are crowded with succulent blue-green leaves, with pink to red flowers in the summer. Grown as a hanging plant or allowed to cascade from pots on the windowsill this fabulous succulent is a Blasus favourite!


    Baby: 5-10cm

    Small: 10-20cm

    Medium:20-30cm (hanging pot)

    Large: 30+cm (hanging pot)

    Sedum Burrito Care:

    Light: Bright, indirect sunlight. A few hours of direct sunlight a day would not go amiss. It will tolerate some degree of shade but will not do as well.

    Water: Water well then allow the soil to dry out before watering again. Sedum Burrito does not like having its roots sitting in water.

    Temperature: Average room temperatures of 15-24°C with a minimum of 10°C.

    Humidity: Does not like Humid conditions so do not place in a bathroom or kitchen.

    Feed: A weak solution of liquid fertiliser once a month or so.

    Height and Growth Rate:  Ultimate length can reach over 60-70cm. Slow growing once established.

    Toxicity: Non-toxic to pets but should not be ingested.

    Origin: Mexico and Honduras.
